New Delhi: Former Congress national spokesperson and renowned South Indian actress Khushboo Sundar has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday. During her address, she promised to completely dedicate herself to the BJP and give her best towards the responsibilities given to her.
While joining BJP, Khushboo said that she has full faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the nation needs to move ahead under the guidance of somebody like him.
"India is in the right direction under Modiji," she asserted.
Apart from her, Madan Ravichandran and Saravanan Kumaran from Tamil Nadu also joined the party in the presence of senior leaders at the BJP headquarters on Monday.
Ahead of joining BJP, Sundar wrote a letter to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. In her letter, she stated that she had joined the party post the 2014 general elections loss when it was at its lowest and had worked without the need for any recognition, fame or other gains.
