India-China border dispute: 100 days of Galwan clash

As the violent Galwan Valley faceoff in eastern Ladakh has marked 100 days, here is a timeline which reflects the development of the sequences. Even after reaching a mutual consent both India and China are on high alert with full preparation.

New Delhi: On June 15 this year, Indian soldiers including a commanding officer of 16th Bihar regiment were martyred in a violent clash with Chinese PLA soldiers which took place at Galwan valley in eastern Ladakh. India and China held a series of meetings at the military and diplomatic levels where National Security Advisors, Defence Ministers and Foreign Ministers held talks. Even after reaching a five-point consensus by both the nations the situation on the ground especially in eastern Ladakh is at razor's edge.
