New Delhi: India has taken up with Pakistan the matter of collapse of domes of the Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara.
As per sources, India has conveyed to Islamabad that the damage to holy structures has caused great consternation among the Sikh community.
India also urged Pakistan to urgently rectify the damages done to the structures and asked government to understand the faith and devotion of the sikh community.
Reportedly, the thunderstorm in Pakistan caused temporary damage to eight newly constructed domes of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Narowal on Friday.
Four domes were on minarets, two on museum and one each on Darshani Deori and Dewanistan, sources said.
The Gurdwara is closed from March 15 after the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
