1. PM Modi likely to hold virtual summit with his Luxembourg counterpart today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his counterpart from Luxembourg Xavier Bettel likely to hold a virtual summit today, covering the entire spectrum of bilateral relations. The MEA said It will be the first stand-alone summit between India and Luxembourg in the past two decades.

2. Mathura court to hear claim plea for Krishna janambhumi today

The Mathura court will hold the hearing on the removal of the 17th Century Idgah Mosque, adjacent to the birthplace of Lord Krishna here on Wednesday.

3. BS Yediyurappa to visit Delhi today, likely to discuss cabinet exercise

Days after indicating that cabinet expansion or reshuffle was on the cards, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is scheduled to travel to New Delhi today, during which he is expected to discuss it with the BJP high command. According to the Chief Minister's tentative tour programme, released by his office, Yediyurappa will be leaving for New Delhi by a special flight at 11:30 am on November 18 and reach there by 2:30 pm.

4. Odisha Assembly winter session: All-party meet today

Odisha Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro will convene an all-party meeting today ahead of the Winter session of the Assembly beginning November 20. The Speaker told media persons on Sunday that the meeting will decide among other things whether there will be question hour during the session. Question hour was suspended during the Monsoon session held from September 29 to October 7 in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
