1. India, US third 2+2 inter-ministerial dialogue today

With a focus on regional security cooperation, India and the United States are set to hold the third 2+2 ministerial dialogue today during which both the sides will sign a military agreement to expand geospatial information sharing between armed forces of the two countries.

2. PM Modi to inaugurate National Conference on Vigilance and Anti-Corruption

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Conference on Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on the theme 'Vigilant India, Prosperous India' at 4.45 pm today via video conferencing. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) organises the National Conference coinciding with 'Vigilance Awareness Week', which is observed in India every year from October 27 to November 2.

3. Rajnath to address Army Commanders' Conference today

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will address Army Commanders’ Conference today. The event will be attended by senior officers of the Army including the Vice Chief of the Army Staff, all Army Commanders.

4. Doctors of Govt hospitals to hold protest today

Doctors from various government hospitals including Maulana Azad Medical College, Safdarjung Hospital and RML Hospital, will hold a two-hour symbolic protest today over non-payment of salary to doctors of Hindu Rao Hospital.
