1. Trial run of India-Bangladesh waterway today

The Sonamura-Daudkandi inland waterways protocol route connecting Tripura to Bangladesh would be made operational today. India and Bangladesh will get further connected with an international waterway, linking Sonamura in Tripura with Daudkandi in Bangladesh via River Gomati. The trial run will take place today, said Anurag Srivastava, spokesperson, ministry of external affairs.

2. GoAir to add over 100 new domestic flights from today

Budget airline GoAir said on Friday that it will add over 100 new flights to its domestic network starting from today. Accordingly, these flights will include new connections to and from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow, Nagpur, Varanasi, Jaipur, Patna, Ranchi, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Srinagar, Leh and Jammu.

3. Doorstep sampling of Puducherry's 'vulnerable' population to begin from today

Puducherry Health Minister Malladi Krishna Rao said that doorstep sampling survey would begin from today to identify the rate of COVID positivity among the Union Territory's vulnerable population.
