Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre The 10,000-bed Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre at Radha Soami Satsang Beas at Chattarpur in south Delhi will become operational today. The COVID-19 centre was developed under the Union Home Ministry's supervision to meet the beds shortage amid the rise in number of novel coronavirus cases in Delhi.
The operation of this centre, including the availability of adequate medical personnel, has been entrusted to the central armed police forces, led by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). It is set to become the largest COVID-19 care facility in India.
