1. Uttarakhand High Court to hear PIL against Patanjali's COVID-19 cure
The Uttarakhand high court will continue its hearing on a public interest litigation (PIL) alleging that yoga guru Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, CEO of Patanjali Ayurved claimed that the company’s medicine Coronil is a cure for Covid-19, without seeking permission from authorities concerned for manufacturing such a medicine.
The high court had issued a notice to the centre regarding the same today.

The Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board announced that Char Dham Yatra for residents of the state will begin from today amid COVID-19 crisis.The number of pilgrims visiting the temples daily, however, will be limited and they will not be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum and adjoining wings of the temples. The pilgrims will not be allowed to make any offerings or touch deities’ idols either at the temples.

As part of the series of interactions, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will hold a conversation on Wednesday with nurses at the front-line of battle against COVID-19.
The interaction is a part of the online series of Congress, "Conversations with Rahul Gandhi" in which the party leader will speak to four Indian nurses working in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and India.
4. Madhya Pradesh to launch 'Kill Corona' campaign
The state government will launch a ''Kill Corona'' campaign from tomorrow to control the spread of COVID-19 in the state. During the 15-day campaign, 2.5 lakh tests will be carried out and 15,000 to 20,000 samples would be collected daily.
Under the campaign, the door-to-door survey will be conducted and tests would also be done on citizens for other diseases.

7. AAP to hold nationwide protest today against fuel price hike
After the Congress party, Aam Admi party will hold protests across the country on July 1 against the rising prices of petrol and diesel. After the prices of petrol and diesel were increased by Rs 0.05 and Rs 0.13 respectively on Monday. The cost of petrol per litre stands at Rs 80.43 and diesel prices stand at Rs 80.53 in Delhi.
