1. Indians stranded in Pakistan to return
At least 329 Indian nationals, stranded in Pakistan, will now be returning home as the federal government finalised the schedule for their repatriation. Pakistan government has also notified the immigration officials to reach the Wagah border to ensure smooth repatriation of the Indian nationals.
2. Central team to visit Telangana today
A central team, led by Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry Lav Agarwal, will visit different areas of Telangana to review the measures undertaken by the authorities to contain the spread of coronavirus. The central team will interact with state-officials and coordinate with them to strengthen the ongoing efforts for management of COVID-19. The four-day-long visit to the states comes at a time when India is going through phase II of the withdrawal of nationwide lockdown.
