Rathore used to keep five to seven horses at his residence and is very well-versed with the sport. He wanted his sons to take up horse riding as employment means and even their sons are leaving no stones unturned to fulfill their father's dreams.

Chug Singh Rathore's sons reside in Japan, Dubai and New Zealand and are playing in millions. The family has also started an international equestrian school with 14 village horses, in which dozens of people from Barmer and other places come for training. Chug Singh says that his sole aim is to promote the art of horse riding in every way possible.

Rathore's son Jaswant Singh, who had recently come to India from New Zealand, said that his father was always fond of horse riding.

He said, "During our childhood, I and my brothers used to take horses far and wide and used to play with them. Since the horses were kept at our home, we gradually learn to ride them. My maternal uncle gave training for 6 months to my elder brother in Delhi and my brother went to Dubai. My brother also represented India in Dubai for the horse-riding sport following which rest of my brothers also got training in abroad. "

Rathore's son Jaswant said, "I am earning lakhs of rupees in New Zealand by horse riding. My salary is more than one and a half lakh per month. My brother Upendra Singh is also in New Zealand. Elder brother Jujhar Singh is currently displaying the art of riding in Japan. While Tej Singh is riding in Dubai, my younger brother Balendra Singh has almost completed his training in the sport in Delhi. He too is now preparing to go to America."

Jaswant Singh says that if the government cooperates, then we can take talents abroad from the state by organizing international equestrian competitions in our area. At present, the Marwari and Sindhi breed of horses is facing a danger of extinction and if the government does not save these breeds in time, they will be extinct. The speciality of these breeds is that it is more capable than other horses that are found abroad. Therefore, the government should pay more attention to this.
