He is PM, he can speak anything: Tejashwi on Modi's 'Prince of Jungle Raj' jibe

Replying to a question about PM Modi's 'Yuvraaj (Prince) of Jungle Raj' jibe, RJD leader and Mahagathbandan's chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav said that Narendra Modi is the country's PM and is entitled to say anything but he didn't wish to react to his comments. Tejashwi said that the PM should have spoken about the issues of hunger and unemployment in Bihar, rather than making personal attacks.

Patna: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Yuvraaj (Prince) of Jungle Raj' jibe at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, the Mahagathbandan's chief ministerial candidate on Thursday said that he should have spoken about the issues of hunger and unemployment in Bihar, rather than making personal attacks.

Talking to media persons in Patna before leaving for the election meeting, when Tejashwi was asked that PM Modi called him 'Jungle Raj Ka Yuvraj', Tejashwi said, 'He is the country's Prime Minister, he can say anything, I don't want to react to that. But he came to Bihar, he could have spoken about a special package, unemployment, more important issues.

"It is the world's biggest party (BJP), they are using 30 helicopters. if their PM talks like this, the public knows everything. But he should have spoken on issues like poverty, factories, farmers, unemployment." said the RJD leader.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday slammed the Opposition and even went ahead to term the Mahagathbandan's chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, as "Yuvraaj of Jungleraj" (Prince of Jungleraj).

"I want to know from the people of Patna, I want to know from the people of Bihar, could Bihar dream of becoming an IT-hub in Jungle Raj? Whether 'Yuvraj of Jungle Raj', he can take Bihar forward in the field of IT, or in any area of modernity," PM Modi said at the rally held in Patna.
