Haryana rains: Elderly man rescued from an overflowing drain

An elderly man was rescued after he drowned in an overflowing drain in Haryana's Yamunanagar. He was rushed to the nearby hospital.

Yamunanagar (Haryana): In a video that has gone viral, an elderly man can be seen being rescued by a group of men in Haryana's Yamunanagar after he drowned in a drain that was overflowing through the streets of the area.

The old man was rescued in an unconscious condition and was rushed to the nearby hospital.

With heavy rains lashing the northern state of Haryana, a street of the residential area was turned into a pool.
