Haryana Polls: To move forward by serving the interests of all people, says JJP leader Digvijay Chautala

Kurukshetra:As the election campaigns continue at full swing in the state of Haryana, Indian National Student Organisation (INSO) president and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Digvijay Singh Chautala on Thursday said their party seeks to move forward or develop by keeping the interests of people in mind.

"If media says that we stand almost at an equal position as the ruling government, then we must surely win by a thumping majority," said Chautala while speaking to ETV Bharat.

With the support of rebel Congress leader Ashok Tanwar, Chautala said that JJP will surely win a good number of seats in the upcoming elections.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Chautala asserts that their main agenda lies in youth employment, motivate school students, empower women waiving their loans, provide pension and much more.

Focusing on the all-round development of the state, Chautala plans to bring the internet to the core in the villages.

He goes ahead to speak about immigrants in the state and introducing a commission for their benefit.

"We want to move forward with all sections of people along with the farmers," he said.

On being asked about the BJP government's shortcomings in the five years of rule, the LLP leader mentioned the job distribution to Gujaratis instead of Haryanvi in the state, destroying the poor farmers' through digitization are a few failures on the part of the government. He authenticated his statement by saying that people during discussions have implicated the same.

Elections to the 90-member Haryana assembly will be held on October 21. The counting of votes is scheduled to take place on October 24.
