New Delhi: The National Commission for Minorities (NCM) celebrated the 550th 'Prakash Parv' (birth anniversary) of Guru Nanak Dev, the first Sikh Guru with religious fervour.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Ghayorul Hasan Rizvi, chairperson, NCM, said advice of Guru Nanak Dev is still relevant as he underlined the fact that God is one and may have many names.
Ranjit Singh, the chief priest of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, said that the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev is being celebrated across the world and it gives immense pleasure to all concerned.
