Grievances of Defence industry were given importance during roundtable: MoS Defence

In a round-table conference held in Delhi, the MoD has assured all the people of the industry that their grievances regarding the Make in India campaign will be taken care of.

New Delhi:To give emphasis on Make in India campaign in the Defence sector, the grievances of the industry have been heard in the round table conference organised by the Ministry of Defence. Also, assurance has been given to them that all their issues will be taken care of.

Minister of state for Defence Sripad Naik said: "Grievances have been given to us by them(Industry) such as tax component and other problems and ministry has assured them that all of them will be taken care of."

Ola Rignell, chairman and Managing Director of SAAB technologies on competitions between Indian and foreign companies said that "The competition is good and we need it so that the efforts can be improved."
