Ayodhya: After a long struggle of nearly 500 years, the construction of Ram Temple is going to commence in Ayodhya, also known as Ramnagari. This auspicious occasion has led to immense happiness among saints, mahants and devotees of Lord Rama across the nations. Ayodhya is being decorated grandly to mark the historic Bhoomi-poojan and welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A beautiful welcome door is being made in front of Hanumangarhi. The road between the national highway and Ayodhya has been dotted with artworks. All the main routes in Ayodhya and Faizabad are being beautified with paintings.

The foundation stone of Shri Ram Temple is to be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For this much-awaited moment, Ayodhya is being given a new look. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took stock of the arrangements on Saturday ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit and the foundation laying ceremony. During his interaction with saints and sadhus, Yogi Adityanath said that the auspicious moment will be witnessed by the nation after a long wait of 500 years and it should be celebrated like Diwali. Following CM's order, spiritual and religious leaders decided to organise a dipotsav, which will begin a day before the Bhoomi-poojan. On August 4 and 5, all temples and mutts in Ayodhya will shine in the light of diyas.

Religious rituals will begin on August 3, two days before the Bhoomi-poojan for Ram temple. There will also be a recitation of the Ramayana. Temples are also being decorated. On the day of Bhoomi-poojan, special offerings will be made to deities in different temples.
