New Delhi: The Communist Party of India (CPI) general secretary D Raja on Wednesday said that Centre is trying to implement Hindutva agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) across India.
Referring to the recent statement given by Minister of State for Home, G Kishan Reddy, Raja said that the statement is "highly provocative."
"...It means that the Government is targeting a particular community. The Government is trying to implement the Hindutva agenda of RSS," said Raja to ETV Bharat.
Recently in a public meeting in Bengaluru Kishan Reddy had told that his ministry has set up a committee to survey the status of closed and destroyed schools and temples in Kashmir valley. He had further added that around 50000 temples would be renovated across Kashmir.
Talking on the present situation of J&K, Raja said that entire Kashmir has been seized by the security forces.
"I don't agree with the claim made by the government that normalcy is returning in Kashmir. In fact, people are kept captive. Schools are not functioning. People are passing through unimaginable hardship," said Raja.
