ETV Bharat reached the village Lagwan and spoke to the makers of this sanitizer tunnel prepared from junk. Physics lecturer Ajay Sharma said that the team has tested it. Now they want to put it under the supervision of experts at the intersection of the village so that people who come there will benefit at the time of curfew relaxation. They believe that the administration can take it under their control and use it in the district hospital or anywhere and they can also build more such tunnels.

To make the tunnel, the youth used the pipes lying useless in the polyhouse, waste material of a tent house and some useless advertisement boards. They also used a motor in it. There are 24 points for sanitizer spray in a tunnel which is about seven feet long, three feet wide and nine feet high.

With this, a person can get soaked in sanitizer in just half to one minute from head to toe.

Ajay Sharma told ETV Bharat that he got the idea from the spray of a small sanitizer. The tunnel was made at home. The scrap was collected during the curfew relaxation. Physical distancing was taken care of. When one person was working on it, others would stand away. After that, another person would work on it.

They say that if the government wants to install the tunnel in the district hospital, they will be happy.

Currently, there are plans to install it in the village.
