New Delhi:Former BJP MLA from Bihar, Rameshwar Chaurasia has voiced his concern over the saffron party's defeat in the Jharkhand legislative elections. BJP has slipped to 25 seats and the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance won a majority of 47 seats in a House of 81.
In an interview with ETV Bharat, Rameshwar Chaurasia said that BJP's defeat in Jharkhand will surely have an impact on its neighbouring state Bihar.
"Jharkhand has been carved out of Bihar, this may be a reason that Jharkhand's politics will also cause an impact over the state of Bihar which is supposed to undergo assembly election in the upcoming year."
Without naming anyone, Chaurasia also targeted Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and said that "In order to win assembly elections in the state, there should be a change in the leadership."
