Bengaluru:ADD engineering, subsidiary of a Germany based company, is waiting for the land of 3000 sq ft in Bengaluru Industrial areas for 2 years, but still has not been allotted land.
ADD engineering supplies spares to HAL and other PSUs for LCA and other fighter jet aircraft cutting tools, while the company had decided to manufacture spares in India under 'Make in India' but Karnataka state government is not allocating land even after recommendation of then Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Firm waits for two years for land to manufacture fighter jet spares Speaking regarding the issue ADD Engineering director Girish said: "The land request was made in the year 2008 after paying Rs 6.5 lakhs and till now KSSIDC has kept us in dark by not giving us clear information whether we will be getting land or not."
Firm waits for two years for land to manufacture fighter jet spares Then Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recommended stating the requirements of such industries to defence sectors and recommended immediate allotment through DPC. "But still, the land is not sanctioned even after the recommendation we do not understand", he stressed.
Girish questions if Nelamangala industrial land has legal issues why not allot any other land around Bengaluru? There are other offerings from neighbouring states like Andhra Pradesh giving us a single-window system to start manufacturing unit at lesser costs.
Girish said: "We are waiting for the land to provide local employment because of Karnataka and Kannada sentiment. If the land is not given we have no other choice but to choose an alternative."
