Bengaluru:ADD engineering, subsidiary of a Germany based company, is waiting for the land of 3000 sq ft in Bengaluru Industrial areas for 2 years, but still has not been allotted land.
ADD engineering supplies spares to HAL and other PSUs for LCA and other fighter jet aircraft cutting tools, while the company had decided to manufacture spares in India under 'Make in India' but Karnataka state government is not allocating land even after recommendation of then Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Company has a demand for 3 to 4 thousand sqft of land around Bengaluru Industrial parks which comes under KSSIDC, but after paying 6.5 lakhs rupees and 2 years later KSSIDC said, "there is a legal issue in sanction of land."
Speaking regarding the issue ADD Engineering director Girish said: "The land request was made in the year 2008 after paying Rs 6.5 lakhs and till now KSSIDC has kept us in dark by not giving us clear information whether we will be getting land or not."
