'Enjoy,' says PM Modi as Twitterati turn him into a meme

As the images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi observing the annual solar eclipse were turned into a meme, he asked netizens to "enjoy", instantly drawing applause from all quarters.

New Delhi:Netizens were in for a sweet surprise on Thursday, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked them to "enjoy", even as he was turned into a meme during annual solar eclipse.

It all started when the Prime Minister tweeted images of him observing the eclipse.

"Like many Indians, I was enthusiastic about #solareclipse2019. Unfortunately, I could not see the Sun due to cloud cover but I did catch glimpses of the eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on live stream. Also enriched my knowledge on the subject by interacting with experts," he wrote.

It did not take long for Twitterati to circulate memes made out of the Prime Minister's images.

But the best surprise came when a Twitter handle by the name 'Gappistan Radio' shared PM Modi's image and said, "This is becoming a meme".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi official handle then retweeted Gappistan Radio's post and wrote, "Most welcome....enjoy :)"

Netizens were instantly in awe as a leader encouraging jokes on himself comes as an extremely rare sight.

"Haha Modi sir is the coolest pm," a user commented.

Visibly surprised with the sudden influx of activity on the handle's timeline, Gappistan Radio then tweeted, "Wait what."
