New Delhi: Expressing confidence about Congress' performance in the recently concluded Delhi Assembly elections, Delhi Congress chief Subhash Chopra on Monday reiterated that results of exit polls would be proved wrong as actual election results would have a totally different picture.
"People loved Congress. Our party was not lagging behind. The election results would be astonishing," Chopra told ETV Bharat reporter.

The Congress leader added that the exit polls projecting one or two seats out of the total 70 assembly seats were wrong as the Congress would do well and win a good number of seats.
Reacting to party MP KTS Tulsi's comment, he reportedly said that the Congress might have deliberately conceded ground to the AAP in order to defeat the BJP, Chopra further said that it was his personal view and only the result would give the right picture.
The Election Commission will declare the results of Delhi Assembly polls on Tuesday.
