Jaipur: Govind Singh Dotasra, who was given the charge of Rajasthan Congress unit following the political uproar in the party on July 14, 2020, got his new team after a long wait of six months. The party appointed seven vice presidents, eight general secretaries and 24 secretaries to the Pradesh Congress Committee, in an apparent balancing act between the two camps led by Pilot and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
A total of 39 leaders, including the loyalists of former deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, have also been accommodated in this committee. They include - Rajendra Choudhary, G R Khatana, Ved Solanki, Rakesh Pareek, Deshraj Meena, Mahendra Kheri, Mahendra Gurjar, Prashant Sharma, Rakhi Gautam and Shobha Solanki.
The Pradesh Congress Committee has also got eleven MLAs. They include - Govind Meghwal, Jitender Singh Gurjar, Mahendra Jeet Malviya, Ramlal Jaat, G R Khatana, Hakim Ali, Lakhan Meena, Prashant Bairwa, Rakesh Pareek, Reeta Chowdhary and Ved Solanki. These 11 MLAs also include the three (Ved Solanki, Rakesh Pareek and G R Khatana) who had joined Sachin Pilot group after the party witnessed infighting last year.
It also has five former MLAs. They are - Nasim Akhtar, Mahendra Gurjar, Mangilal Garasiya, Harimohan Sharma, and Rajinder Chowdhary. Out of these five - Nasim Akhtar, Rajinder Chowdhary and Mangilal Garasiya have been ministers earlier.

The newly formed Pradesh Congress Committee also has six leaders who had lost polls and they include - Nasim Akhtar Insaf, Pushpender Bhardwaj, Mangilal Garasiya, Shobha Solanki, Prashant Sharma and Rakhi Gautam. Lakhan Meena is one MLA in the committee who switched over to Congress from BSP.
Castes like Jaat, SC, Brahmin, Gurjar, Yadav, tribals, Muslims, Meena, Patel, Kumawat, Rajput, Sirvi, Mali and Jangir.
