New Delhi:As the bhumi pujan for the year long-awaited Ram temple is scheduled on August 5 in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Joint General Secretary Surendra Jain on Saturday said that he doesn't have any idea about whether the veteran leader L K Advani and other leaders responsible for the agitation of the Ram Janmabhoomi are invited for the ceremony or not.
Moreover, it is the responsibility of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra, a trust set up by the Centre to oversee the construction of the temple, to invite all those who are connected with the temple, said Jain to ETV Bharat. Currently, the BJP leaders are facing a trial in the Babri Masjid demolition case.
According to the reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Ayodhya on August 5 for the bhumi pujanceremony.

When asked about the controversy regarding the visit of PM Modi, Jain said, "Whenever there is a moment of proud for the Hindu community, it is the tendency of some of the anti-nationals to spread rumours and fake news regarding the temple. At the time of the foundation laying ceremony, many of the political leaders along with some saints were criticised the move but at the end, we did it."
