Bengaluru (Karnataka): Following reports of a “dinner meeting” between a section of Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs from Karnataka to discuss “leadership change” in the state, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Chief Minister BS Yeddiyurappa and asked him not to bother about the issue and concentrate on fighting Covid-19 pandemic.
As per sources, Shah spoke to CM Yeddiyurappa over a phone call around 9 pm and asked him not to worry about the rebel MLAs and work on controlling the coronavirus pandemic in the state. He also, reportedly, stated that the BJP high command is keeping a close watch on the developments.
