Shimla (HP):The whole world is struggling to contain the spread of coronavirus. Many countries have been put under lockdown. In such a situation, people are worried about feeding stray dogs, monkeys or other animals, but according to Dr Savita, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Himachal, has advised people to stay away from animals as much as possible these days.
Dr Savita expresses concern about the tigress in New York Zoo who was tested positive, saying that the coronavirus is new to the world, we don't have the proper knowledge and also there is no cure.
At present, there is no denial of the fact that the virus is spreading from humans to animals, so it is advised to stay away from animals as much as possible.
Necessary guidelines have been issued to zoos and national parks in India after the New York case surfaced.
