Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express to run from 5th Oct

Tejas Express is set to start its commercial run from 5th of October on its route of Delhi-Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will flag off this train on 4th October for its Special Run from Lucknow.

New Delhi: India's first private train Tejas Express will start its commercial run from 5th of October on its route of Delhi-Lucknow. However, Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will flag off this train on 4th October for its Special Run from Lucknow.

As Ministry of Railways has handed over the running Tejas Express to IRCTC, under its 100 days Action Plan, therefore operations in haulage concepts with ticketing and onboard services will be taken care of by the private player.

Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express to run from 5th Oct
As per the schedule of Tejas Express, the train will depart from Lucknow by 6:10 in the morning and will reach New Delhi Railway station by 12:25 noon. This train will have its stoppage at Kanpur by 7:20 in the morning, followed by Ghaziabad at 11:45.In its return journey, the train will depart from New Delhi at 15:35 hours and will reach Lucknow Junction at 22:05 hours, while having a stoppage in Ghaziabad at 16:09 and in Kanpur at 20:35 hours.IRCTC is costing Rs 1280 for the tickets of Chair Car, on the route of New Delhi to Lucknow, while Rs 2450 for the executive chair car.

While for the Lucknow to Delhi route, tickets will cost Rs 1125 for AC Chair car and Rs 2310 for Executive Chair car.
