Delhi High Court to hear PIL against pathology labs on Aug 5

The Delhi High Court will hear on August five a petition challenging functioning of the online pathology system. It says the whole business of online pathology labs is very risky as there's way to keep a check on them.

New Delhi: Questioning the functioning of the online pathology labs in the capital city, a petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court alleging that the blood samples being collected through the online pathology system are putting lives at risk.

It said the whole business is being carried out without the required approval from the authorities and without any verification of the educational qualifications of people involved in the work.

The petition urged the court to hear the matter on an urgent basis as it holds large public interest. The court has agreed to hear the case on August 5.
