New Delhi: The AAP government in Delhi on Wednesday raised the circle rates of agricultural land and it will now range between Rs 2.25 crore to Rs 5 crore per acre.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, announcing the decision of his government, said the circle rate has been raised from Rs 53 lakh per acre to Rs 2.25 crore — Rs 5 crore per acre.
He said Lt Governor's approval will be sought on the matter. Earlier, when the Delhi Government had raised the circle rates of the agricultural land, the Lt Governors rejected it.
Kejriwal expressed hope that this time around they would get the Governor's approval.
