Narela: With the farmer protest against the contentious entering the 20th day, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday organised 'Kisan Sammelan' in favour of the three agri-sector bills.
Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta today participated in the Kisan Sammelan organised at Narela, just 2 kilometres from the Delhi Singh border and said the government will hold talks with the agitating farmers to solve the deadlock. District President Devendra Solanki, Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary and other dignitaries were also present. The leaders interacted with the farmers and explained to them the benefits of the agricultural laws.
"BJP respects the farmers of the country. Farmers of Delhi have backed the three laws brought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi is giving the liberty to farmers that they can sell their agricultural produce anywhere in the country. Who are those people who have raised their doubts when farmers are benefitted?" he said.
