Deaf girl raped by her brother's friend in Gorakhpur

The Gorakhpur police have registered a case against a youth who raped a deaf girl in Chauri Chaura on Monday. On the complaint of the victim's mother, the police have registered a rape case against the accused named Pintu Sahni.

Gorakhpur:A deaf girl was raped by her brother's friend on Monday in Chauri Chaura town in Uttar Pradesh Gorakhpur. Police have launched a search for the accused.

At the time of the incident, the family members of the victim went to work and her mother went to the market. When her mother came back she told her about the incident after which they called the emergency no. 112 and informed the police.

After the information, the police station in-charge of Chauri Chaura investigated the incident for several hours and brought the victim to the police station after which the woman's statement was recorded.

On the complaint of the victim's mother, the police have registered a rape case against the accused named Pintu Sahni.

In yet another gruesome incident, a six-year-old girl, who was raped 15 days ago in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, died in a hospital on Monday, triggering protests by family members on Tuesday in Hathras.

The girl belonging to Hathras was raped by one of her cousin brothers on September 14 in Aligarh where she along with her sister lived after their mother died in January this year.
