New Delhi:Due to the western disturbance after a cyclonic circulation lies over Iran and nearby regions, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are likely to receive rainfall, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.
Jammu and Kashmir is likely to receive downpour on Thursday and Friday while Himachal Pradesh may be battered by the rains on Friday only.
Apart from these two states, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls is very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today and tomorrow.
