"The CSC also stop rural people migrating to urban areas. Now, we are also working on urban and semi-urban areas. We are planning to cross more than 4 lakhs CSCs in India by next year," said Tyagi.Interestingly, CSCs are also providing election services.

In at least 15 states across India, election-related services are going on through CSCs. "If someone needs to update their address or other details in the election card, they just need to visit the nearest CSC where our people will update everything," said Tyagi.

He said that very soon this service will be provided in all states across India. Tyagi, however, said that reaching to the northeastern states and hilly areas is still a tough task. "Connectivity in some areas especially in northeastern states and hilly areas is still a concern," said Tyagi.

Interestingly, CSCs are managed and run by local people living in the same area. "It also provides employment in the rural sector," Tyagi added.
