Hyderabad:How beautiful the dream? -- if a fearless society exists that sans of looting, oppression, atrocities, rape, and murders.

People's representatives who indulge in crimes like rape and murder, coming out of unethical politics, even as crimes of multiple genres push India stooping down to a level wherein every page is being filled with rape cases.

Indian culture is noted to celebrate the victory of good over evil as a festival.

Justice is literally being changed as an Oasis for those who suffer the predicament of rape, atrocities, harassment, torture and other brutalities as the legal system fails to deliver justice in the contemporary society being ruined.

Unless a girl attempts suicide right at the residence of a Chief Minister and screams for justice, there is no response from the legalized mechanism in a state that reflects sheer negligence and a glaring example of irresponsibility.

It was a fit case of how uncivilised and yet inhuman hunting by a team of brutal officials like cannibals tried to slit her throat.

The so-called officials had to move after the Supreme Court intervention to probe the case in one and a half months.

The main accused in the case was finally awarded sentence for lifetime. The case is evident that the cast and political leaders indulge in crimes and dictate terms to the legal system, even as a girl battles for justice facing the dreadful situation of torture and threat to life.

Yogi Aadityanath Government in Uttar Pradesh has in recent past passed a resolution to build a society that sans crimes by eliminating criminals.

Later on, in the process, more than 100 criminals and anti-social elements got the sentences.

A 17 years old girl from Mankhi village was found missing in 2017, just three months after the Adithyanath government formed in the state.

Allegations were that then BJP MLA, Kuldeep Singh Sengar, his brother Athup Singh and their followers indulged in joint rape on her.

The girl was released from the iron clutches of the criminals after her parents filed a complaint if missing with the police.

Later on, the police, who could not dare to put a case against the MLA, forced the girl to marry and registered a case of kidnap.

The agony did not end there, as the MLA followers thrashed the girl's father besides filing a case of illegal arms possession and shifted him to the police station.

Naturally, as they threatened to kill, the girl tried to end her life right before the residence of the chief minister. The very next day, her father's body was found in police custody.

At the directive of Allahabad High Court, the CBI has plunged into action and arrested the MLA, his brother, and followers involved in the case.

Interestingly, the CBI did not take immediate steps and prolonged the case for more than one year.

In the meanwhile, the criminal MLA brothers resorted to harass the kin of the victims in different ways. They managed to get 10 tears jail term to her uncle in an alleged murder case. The MLA made a vain bid to finish her entire family by hitting them with a lorry.

In that incident, though the girl and her lawyer were escaped with injuries, two of her relatives were killed.

When the entire nation was rattled and public protested with outrage on the heinous crime, the BJP hierarchy, of late, suspended the MLA Sengar from the party.

Later on, the court awarded life sentence to the MLA on proving guilty. When she sought justice citing life threat on July 17 last, the case came to light by month-end as the Supreme Court has shifted it to a Delhi Court.

After regular hearings, the court found that the MLA was the main culprit and gave him the life sentence in the sensational case.

However, what about police and investigating agencies caught in the iron clutches of leaders and doing injustice to such victims screaming loud for justice.

Reacting strongly, on this sensational Unnao case, the Supreme Court refused to budge to an appeal of solicitor general that the court has to offer compensation to the victim as per law.

The Court retorted saying that whether anything going on as per the Act and law in the country. The apex Court made some key comments on these crimes and incidents. It also sought to know what is happening in the country actually.

In Uttar Pradesh state, five rape and murder cases were reported from last September. Alarmingly, a woman was set ablaze by a team of goons using petrol near the Court when she was coming to attend the rape case she filed against the culprits.

In total flames, she ran for life for about a kilometer long. She appealed that those attacked her should be hanged to death before she died in a hospital.

Similarly, a girl in Punjab, who could not bear the brunt of insult after rape, had to end her life as the police denied to file a case against those who assaulted her.

As political power stoops down by giving a license to crimes, it seems like making a mockery of rule of law, defying constitutional spirit and cutting the very foundation of democratic system.

The then Vice President, Krishna Kanth had expressed concern that they face a typical situation of moving closer with persons whom no one can
see by raising his head and feel total shame.

Indian democratic system has lost its sheen as a dreaded situation and the predicament of gloomy picture prevails, wherein political parties encourage these criminals as winning horses and sending them to legislatures with utmost respect.

No political party can dare Sengar in his district who was a four-time MLA, as he started with the Congress, won as MLA on BSP ticket, twice from SP and the fourth time from the saffron party.

There is no dispute in saying that similar atrocities take place in some or all places with some differences. What happens to democracy if the ruling system changes as per diktats of such criminal politicians. No one can dare to raise their voice against the MLA, Sengar. Surprisingly, the law failed to act on his brother who tried to kill district SP.

This was stated by a special court judge during his verdict in the Unnao case. He said that the Constitution and the Act are greater than anyone else in the country. This observation reflects the aims and objectives of the Constitution and is like smashing such political criminals.

Gradually the conditions are stooping down to a level that the police and investigating agencies are meant for doing service for such hardcore criminals.

It is time for taking a call, whether the political parties bury this distorted system to follow rules of law, or place their "Bhasmasura" hand of criminalised politics on their heads.
