Tenkasi: A COVID-19 positive man died after he was sent to his home. Kin of the patient allege that the hospital management had provided only three days of treatment for the patient.
Raja Subramaniam (49) hails from Alwarkurichi, Tenkasi district. He was admitted to the Tenkasi Government Hospital on September 3 as he had fever. The hospital management said that he tested COVID-19 positive.
He was given treatment for the next three days and was sent to his home on September 6. The fever eventually increased after he reached home and he was admitted in the hospital again. After his condition had gone critical each day he was shifted to the District Government Hospital, Thirunelvelli on September 9.
However, the treatment failed to had any impact on him and Raja Subramanian passed away this morning. This has shaken his family and relatives.
