Major depts in Karnataka's Vidhana Soudha were sealed after female staff tests covid positive. Himachal Pradesh is undergoing preparations to conduct college examinations and instructions have been issued. Teams have been constituted in the national capital to inspect various hospitals. Hyderabad: The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the nation is 1,53,178 and number of discharged cases is 1,80,012. Meanwhile, 9,900 deaths have been recorded.

Maharashtra

Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis alleged that Thackeray Govt. hid around 950 corona deaths so far. The state is witnessing a huge spike of COVID-19 cases.

Delhi

After Union Minister Amit Shah chaired the all-party meeting in Delhi to discuss coronavirus crisis in the state, it was decided by the central government that a team will be formed to assess the capacity of all the hospitals of Delhi Government. Three teams have been formed, which will inspect different hospitals. The doctors of AIIMS and DGHS included in these teams will have the right to take the help of other doctors associated with their institute.

Gujarat

Gujarat govt announced to slash health expenditure. With Gujarat reporting an average 400 new coronavirus cases every day since the last one month, senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel on Tuesday accused the BJP government in the state of "drastically reducing" its healthcare expenditure over years. He had questioned the COVID-19 testing charges of private laboratories. First time in 47 years, Rajkot Municipal Corporation General Board Meeting was conducted inside an auditorium due to Corona crisis.

Himachal Pradesh

Preparations have started for conducting college examinations in Himachal Pradesh. Education Secretary has issued instructions to HPU regarding this. According to which the HPU management has been instructed to make all the arrangements including the students' seating plans, thermal screening and hand sanitization at the examination centres. In view of the preparations for the examinations, instructions have also been given to vacate the colleges which have been made quarantine centres in the state. The Education Secretary has issued instructions to all the Deputy Commissioners not to appoint any other person after completion of the time period of the people housed in these quarantine centres.

Karnataka

Two offices have been sealed following Corona positive reports to the staff of the Department of Food in Vidhana Soudha.

The woman works as a stenographer in the food department. The infected woman has been taken to a government hospital for examination. The authorities have sealed two rooms of the Food Department.

The Vidhanasoudha employees met Vijaya Bhaskar, the deputy secretary of the Employees' Union, and urged all staff in the food department to undergo the Corona test.

Odisha

Door-to-door surveillance to identify persons with COVID-19 symptoms began across Odisha today. The surveillance teams will visit all households in 53,845 villages and slums in all the 103 urban areas. The survey will be conducted by ASHA and ANM workers between June 16 and July 31. Odisha’s tally of coronavirus positive cases has reached 4163, active cases are at 1295.

Bihar

74 new corona patients have been confirmed in Bihar on Tuesday. With this, the number of corona infected has increased to 6736 in the state. So far, one lakh thirty thousand corona samples have been tested in Bihar. Out of which 6736 cases have been found positive and 4571 patients have been cured. Corona testing in the state will now start with rapid kits. ICMR has approved this. This test kit is inexpensive and produces the report in just 15 minutes.

Punjab

In an interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Punjab CM Capt. Amarinder Singh asked states to adopt Punjab's Model and he strictly advised 'Not to Step Out without Masks'. In a bid to further check the spread of Coronavirus, the Revenue Department of the Punjab Government has allocated Rs. 300 Cr. to the various departments and Deputy Commissioners. out of Rs.100 crore allocated to the Deputy Commissioners, Rs.98 Cr. has been spent on sending the migrant workers to their home states, distributing dry rations, and on Quarantine facilities.

Rajasthan

Rajasthan saw a big spike in the number of cured patients on Tuesday. At present, about 75 per cent recovery rates have been registered in the state, making it the highest in the country. As many as 9794 patients have recovered from this disease so far. 75 out of 100 patients in the state are recovering from COVID-19.

Uttar Pradesh

State Principal Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 435 people have died in the state from Corona till date. At the same time, 14,598 people have been infected with Corona. Samajwadi Party MLA Lalai Yadav tested positive for coronavirus. Allahabad's SSP Satyarth Anuj Pankaj and his gunner also tested positive. In Kanpur, 17 people, including 10 from the same family, were found positive.

Uttarakhand

Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj and his wife Amrita Rawat, who were admitted into AIIMS Rishikesh after confirmation of corona positive, have been discharged from hospital on Tuesday. 67 corona positive case found in Uttarakhand and with this state COVID 19 positive figures rose to 1912. A personnel of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Uttarakhand found corona positive.

Chhattisgarh

Pregnant woman and children are not getting food and medicine in Raipur's quarantine Center. While speaking to ETV Bharat, a pregnant woman claimed that facilities at the Quarantine Center are lacking. In the backdrop of the incident, Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo spoke to the pregnant woman and instructed the concerned health department officials to visit her. Deo has also directed the doctor to visit the quarantine centre asked the officers to make adequate arrangements.
