Dehradun(Uttarakhand): Famed Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Friday said that COVID-19 medicine will be available in the market within two weeks and people should practice yoga regularly to boost their immunity system to fight against the deadly virus. In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat Regional Editor BrajMohan Singh, Baba Ramdev also urged the people of the country to boycott Chinese products, making an appeal to the government to levy heavy import duties on the same.

Speaking about the Covid-19 medicine, Baba Ramdev said, "The entire world is reeling under the coronavirus which has claimed more than 12,000 lives in our country as well. Research and Development (R&D) department of Patanjali has managed to prepare Covid-19 medicine and it will be available in the market within two weeks. When applied, Covid-19 infected patients showed speedy recoveries. We have been appealing to the ICMR to recommend Ayurvedic medicine along with allopathic medicine for the treatment of the virus."
"We have followed the protocols of Drug discovery clinical control trials process in making the medicine for COVID-19 which has 100 percent recovery rate", he said.
Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on boycotting China products On boycotting China products
Making an appeal to the people of the country to boycott Chinese products, he said, "Chinese troops lynched our twenty Jawans to death and has backstabbed India. Every Indian should boycott products made in China and should stand with government in promoting Swadeshi products. We should stand united to teach China a lesson by becoming self-reliant.
Appealing the govt to impose heavy import duties on Chinese products, he went on to add, "China has a huge market in India for automobiles, electronics and Modi govt should impose heavy import duties on all the Chinese products, adding that tax relief and subsidies should be provided to Indian companies to promote local brands.
"I have always supported Swadeshi products and India should become Aatmanirbhar by being vocal about the local. I also urge all the celebrities and political parties to boycott China products. The entire nation must come together at this time to promote local products and brands.
Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Yoga On International Yoga Day:
"On the occassion of International Yoga Day, I will practice Yoga from VIP Ghat in Haridwar from early morning and will connect virtually with all the citizens. The entire country can participate on from 7 am in the morning. This year I will teach people about advanced Yoga practices and I am expecting that atleast 50 crore people will join me. We should incorporate Yoga in our daily lifestyle and the entire world is practising Yoga seeing its health benefits", Yog Guru said.
Highlighting the benefits of Yoga, Baba Ramdev added, "Everyone should adopt yoga in their daily fight as it the best way to deal with COVID-19. I have been practising Yoga for past 49 years and I would suggest all the youngsters to include yoga in their daily routine."
"Corona can be defeated with Yoga and exercises. People can also prepare medicines using natural remedies at to keep themselves free of cough and cold during the monsoon," he said.
