COVID-19 India tracker: State-wise report

The total number of active COVID-19 cases reported so far in the country stands at 4,789 including the 352 people who had been cured or discharged and the number of people who died was 124, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Hyderabad: The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in India reached 4,789 on Tuesday, the Union Health Ministry said.

According to the Health Ministry website, as on April 7 at 06:00 pm, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 4,789 with 124 deaths. Maharashtra reported the most number of cases at 868, followed closely by Tamil Nadu that reported 621 cases.
