New Delhi: The Congress announced on Saturday that its district-level and state-level agitations against the Centre's "anti-people policies" would culminate in a "mega rally" at Ramlila Maidan on November 30.
Punjab Congress incharge Asha Kumari speaking to media Speaking to media, Asha Kumari, Punjab Congress in-charge, said that the Congress held a meeting of its general secretaries, chiefs of it frontal organisations', department heads, state unit chiefs and CLP leaders.
"The meeting was called to discuss the agitation programme...against the Central government's anti-people policies, especially economic slowdown, farmers distress, huge unemployment and other issues. The party will hold a "Bharat Bachao" rally related to these issues on November 30, said Kumari."
Reacting on Aam Aadmi Party's(AAP) allegation on Punjab chief minister's foreign tour, Kumari said, "Allegations made on chief minister by AAP are all baseless. The chief minister is on an official tour to London and he will be meeting investors there for upcoming 'Progressive Punjab Investors Meeting.'
