New Delhi: Congress attacked the BJP-led Central Government through a video, in which the opposition party listed out 10 decisions, including the imposition of lockdown, migrants crisis, farm laws and many others, that could've been avoided.

Calling it a 'Modi made crisis', Congress shared a video of one minute on their social media platforms, targeting the Government over its decisions during the times of Corona pandemic, and stated, "10 Modi made crises that could have been avoided but instead devasted our nation."

The list includes, an "ill-planned" 8 pm lockdown, migrant workers crisis, scams amid pandemic, "lied" on Chinese intrusion, "jumla" relief package on the economy, "lied" on data related to migrants, COVID-19 and jobs, passed bills without discussion in Rajya Sabha, passed "black" farm bills that will "destroy" the farmers and "benefit" crony capitalists, allowed gross violations of human rights in Uttar Pradesh, India number two in global COVID-19 cases.

Congress had repeatedly slammed the Union Government over the sudden announcement of nationwide lockdown and it's mismanagement throughout the COVID times. Party President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had even written letters, urging the Government to provide a direct cash benefit to the poor, migrant labourers, small traders, MSMEs and other vulnerable sections in the country, who got hit by the financial crisis due to pandemic.

Congress allegations regarding the scams amid pandemic were in reference corruption cases regarding the purchase of COVID-19 related equipment reported in various states including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.

The opposition party had even launched a series of attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the border standoff between Indian Army and Chinese PLA along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Laddakh. Recently as well, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused PM Modi of "lying" about the current situation at LAC, during a rally in Punjab.

Regarding the farm laws, Gandhi led a 'Tractor Rally' in Punjab and Haryana recently, alleging that the Central Government had passed these bills in Parliament in an unconstitutional manner while promising that Congress will continue to protest against it till these laws are being rolled back.

Congress-ruled states are also planning to either approach the Supreme Court or call a special session to pass state legislation which can override the Center's law over the agriculture sector.

This video has also referred to the Hathras gang-rape and murder case, where the 19-year old victim was forcibly cremated by the UP Police against the wishes of her family members. Calling it a "gross violation of human rights", Congress members including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi went to meet the family members of the victim to assure them of their party's support in seeking justice for the girl.
