New Delhi: A lawmaker from Arunachal Pradesh on Friday claimed that China is eyeing to capture Indian land in Arunachal Pradesh.
The revelation could set alarm bells ringing in New Delhi following the fact that on several other occasions China has made claims on areas inside Indian territory.
"The Chinese are always on the hunt to capture our land. In fact, they get the opportunity when Indian people leave the border areas in search of better living," said Arunachal Pradesh MP Tapir Gao.
The BJP leader said that the Centre should give relaxation in its Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) scheme as far as Arunachal Pradesh is concerned.
"There are many places along the border areas where the population is very thin. When the people of those areas don't get various government schemes they leave their places and move towards town," he said.
