CGBSE releases timetable for supplementary exams

The timetable for class 10 and 12 supplementary examinations are scheduled to commence from November 28 and will end on December 15. The CGBSE today released the timetable for the supplementary exams.

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has announced Class 10 and 12 Supplementary Examination time table on its official website today. All the students who are scheduled to appear for the exam can check the timetable on the official website which is cgbse.nic.in. The students can also visit the website for checking the supplementary examination schedule.

The supplementary exam is for students who have failed in one or two subjects in the main Board exam.

The supplementary examinations will commence from November 28 and end on December 15. The class 10th examination will be conducted from November 20 to December 9 and the examination for class 12th students (general and vocational) will be conducted from November 28 to December 15.

For class 10 students, the students are required to reach the examination centre at 12.30 pm. The exam will be conducted from 1 pm to 4 pm. There are a total of eight subjects for class 10 students which includes science, mathematics, Hindi, social science and others. For virtually impaired students, music and painting exams will be conducted on December 9.

As far as class 12 students are concerned, the students should reach the exam centre at 8 am. The exam will start at 8 am and will continue till 11.30 am.

For class 12 general students, there are a total of 13 subjects which include history, economics, mathematics, political science, geography, retail marketing management, Sanskrit, Computer applications. The vocational students are required to appear for eight subjects.

As per the notification, the students appearing for CGBSE class 10 and 12th supplementary examinations must make sure that they carry the examination admit card along with them. The student admits card will incorporate the name and roll number of the students along with the exam centre details and the examination details.

The board exams this year were scheduled to be conducted in March a few papers were postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The state government later decided to cancel the remaining examinations for both the classes and to evaluate students based on the exams already conducted.
