New Delhi:Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that government does not intend to ban petrol and diesel vehicles. He also claimed that the government is putting all efforts to implement the London transport model.
Addressing a gathering at the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) annual convention, Gadkari said that ministry received suggestions to ban petrol-diesel vehicles however, the government does not intend to do it.
The Union Minister also outlined that India's automobile industry had witnessed high volumes in terms of exports and the industry is providing tremendous employment opportunities.
