General Bipin Rawat meets Desert Knight airmen

Indian and French airforce are holding Desert Knight-21 air drills in Jodhpur from January 20-24 involving top of the line aircraft from both sides. Exercise Desert Knight-21, is being held at Jodhpur Air Force Station from January 20 and will go on till January 24.

Jodhpur:Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat reached Jodhpur on Thursday to undertake a sortie in the ongoing Desert Knight-21 wargames between the Indian Air Force and France.

Under this, the Indian Air Force deployed its Rafale, Sukhoi and Mirage 2000 combat jets besides other key assets with French air and space force.

The drill continued till the western border and missiles were fired at dummy targets at Pokaran and Chandan firing range.

Bipin Rawat further held discussions this with the pilots and officers involved in the drills and also presented mementoes. He was also presented a replica of Rafale by the French Air Force.

Exercise Desert Knight-21, is being held at Jodhpur Air Force Station from January 20 and will go on till January 24.
