Welcoming the budget for FY 2021-22, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said that it is a progressive budget which will help lift the economy and will bring it with a par to the economies of China, Japan and America.

Haridwar (Uttarakhand): Expressing his views on Union Budget presented by Finance Minister, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said that the budget is a step towards building up a self-reliant India. He also lauded the Minister for allocating funds and targets for sectors and undertakings like Healthcare, National Monetization Pipeline, disinvestment, infrastructure, agriculture and others.

Ramdev further added that the budget is progressive and inclusive. Stating that the budget is in the interest of the farmers', Ramdev said that the financial condition of the farmers will improve after the budget which is a welcome step.

Ramdev said that the government will take some effective steps for the middle class in the future and the steps that the government has taken to bring back the economy and strength it is a welcome step.

For the first time after independence, the government had allocated a whopping amount on the health sector.

Ramdev also said that India will be able to strengthen its economy against China, Japan and America through this budget.

Further, the tax has not been increased by the government in any area in this budget, which is also a big relief.

Further commenting on the farmers' issue, Baba Ramdev said that the deadlock between the farmer and the government should end as the Annadatta (farmers) are on the road which is not good.

Slamming the opposition over the politics on farmers issue Ramdev said that they have no issue so they are using the protest for their gains. He also said there interference in the issue is making it difficult for both the parties to reach a conclusion.
