Black bear cub stoned to death in JK's Kulgam

In another incident of animal brutality, a wild black bear cub was beaten to death by locals in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media with netizens expressing their anguish over the brutal act.

Kulgam: A wild black bear cub was brutally stoned to death by the locals in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam on Tuesday evening.

Locals attacked the bear cub with stones until it died. A video of the incident has also gone viral inviting widespread public anguish over the incident and demand for action against the accused men.

According to reports, the police have taken cognizance of the video.

Incidents of man-animal conflict have increased in the valley.

In another similar incident of animal brutality, a video showing a brown bear tumbling down a cliff in Jammu and Kashmir surfaced on social media few days back.

Reportedly, the bear tumbled down and fell into a stream after locals started pelting stones at it.
