New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to conduct public awareness campaign for farmers on the three agriculture-related legislation and to counter the Opposition parties agenda of misleading farmers on their objectives.
The Prime Minister also appealed to the party members to make people understand the Farm bills by conducting campaigns.
The BJP has decided to conduct awareness programs across seven states for 15-days where via press conferences, meetings and webinars the party aims to quash the fake news around the farm bills.
Although BJP got the Farm Bills passed from both the houses of Parliament amidst uproar by the opposition parties, it has become difficult since they have come on roads against the bills.

Party General Secretary Arun Singh has issued a circular to the state president, state organization, and state in-charge of the Rajasthan, Jammu, and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi to start a public awareness campaign on the September 25 to eradicate falsehood done by the Opposition on the historic agriculture-sector reform bills.
The program was started yesterday and in the party's circular the workers have been told to explain to farmers the benefit they will be getting from the Farm Bill and it tries to liberate the farmers engaged in contract farming. It also says the new bill has given the farmer freedom and ways to double the income.
The party has also ordered that press conferences should be organized in every district contacting journalists to discuss agricultural reform.
