New Delhi: After repeated attacks by Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Chirag Paswan on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, several BJP leaders lashed out at him, calling him a 'vote-cutter'.
While on the other side, Congress party has claimed a "hidden agenda" of BJP behind Chirag Paswan's statements, alleging that BJP is trying to get "back door" entry in Bihar politics after failing to get a direct power in the state for the last 15 years.
While speaking to ETV Bharat, Congress leader Tariq Anwar said, "There's not just a hidden agenda behind his statements but there's also a match-fixing. It is a conspiracy because the BJP is trying this from a very long time to become number 1 party in Bihar and to rule the state. But they failed in the last 15 years so now they are trying to get a 'back door' entry."
"Whatever Chirag Paswan is doing is directly benefitting the BJP and the BJP is also 'silently' supporting Chirag Paswan," he asserted.
LJD had walked out of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar, just ahead of the assembly elections in the state, but remains a part of it at the central level.
