New Delhi:Days after the Congress party released its manifesto for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janta Party national spokesperson dubbed the minimum income scheme as a flop one.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Syed Zafar Islam, BJP national spokesperson said that Congress failed to remove poverty, ensure supply of electricity and build roads when it was in power.
"We are providing more than the so-called NYAY scheme. They are saying that they will provide more than we are providing, but they have not clarified as to where is it that they are going to get the money from," he said.
Although Islam refrained from revealing much about the manifesto, Islam added, “Our manifesto will most likely cover issues pertaining to farmers, middle-class population, women, and youth, among other things.”
