New Delhi:As the counting of votes for DDC polls is underway in Jammu and Kashmir, Communist Party of India (CPI) hit out at BJP on Tuesday saying that the latter is trying to get narrow political gains.
The Communist Party of India (CPI) MP in the Rajya Sabha Binoy Viswam on Tuesday said that BJP is trying to get their narrow political gains by making an entry of the corporates and big industry houses in Jammu & Kashmir.
On the day when counting for District Development Council (DDC) election is taking place in J&K, Viswam said that the grand alliance in J&K will come as a winner.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Viswam said, "BJP is just trying to get their narrow political gains by paying a high price for that. The concept of Kashmir as an integral part of India has been compromised. BJP is creating a fertile ground for corporate houses and big industries by letting the Kashmir people lose their identity and land.
The CPI MP accused that BJP-RSS combination is playing a nasty politics and that led to the abrogation of Article 370.
